Customize your library

Most of us are familiar with the difficulties of staying organized. We save stuff that we want to use later and over time it gets all over the place and hard to find once you are ready to use it. The "My Library" template is your solution to getting everything in one place. 

Starting Template

We started you off with an organized structure that includes popular categories and topics from the Luceo community. This provides a solid starting point that can be added to or adjusted easily.

Edit Category & Topic Titles

Everything is organized by groups of related topics - just like you see when using streaming services or ordering stuff online. Changing the names of these items makes it easy to find what you are looking for by creating terminology that is meaningful to you.

Adding a New Category

If you need to add more categories & topics to your library the simplest way is to clone one of the existing groups, so you don't have to make each folder one at a time. From there, you can edit the titles to fit the new group requirements. 

NOTE: if you have already started adding content and don't want it to be copied over to the new Category be sure to select the Clone Structure option from the Clone Method drop down.

Adding a New Topic

If you need to add a new topic to a category the simplest way is to clone one one next to it by pressing the gear icon to open up the settings menu. (you can also delete, change icons and more.)

Uploading Existing Files

Once you've organized your topic folders you'll want to move any existing files from Google Drive, Icloud, dropbox and/or your computer so you can organize all your stuff.

There are two basic steps: 

Create a topic entry

Click on a folder, hit the plus button and then scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up and hit Start Uploading or Start Drawing.

Upload an Asset

Click the Drop files here bar or drag-n-drop from their location into the field.

Add Social Media

You can embed social media posts or even full webpages into your library - from your phone or from your computer. This makes it easy to quickly save things you come across and organize them for use later on. 

From  Your Computer

Create an new item then select Edit Concept Description. Copy the link from the social media content - if its Youtube, Twitter or IG choose Media and if a webpage pick webpage.

Add from Your Phone

Hit the "save to" link from any piece of media, select the Assist App, Create a name & choose your library location.
